Analyse any Idealista listing without leaving the page

A free panel appears inside every property listing you open on idealista.com, with the real price, official Cadastre data and buying costs. This guide shows exactly how it works.

How it works, in 3 steps

No configuration needed after installing it.

  1. Open a listing on idealista.com The extension only activates on individual property listing pages, not on search results.
  2. Read the free panel Asking price vs. real sales nearby, official Cadastre record, estimated renovation and buying costs, and warning signals — all inside the same page.
  3. Confirm the exact property The extension tries to match the listing to the Cadastre automatically. When it needs your help, one of the three cases below applies.

How the extension locates the property

It all depends on how much address the listing itself gives away — three cases, in order of reliability.

  • A The listing gives street and number

The most common case. The engine tries to locate that exact address directly: if it is a plot or a house, it offers that candidate right away; if it is a flat, it tries to match the floor the listing states (when it states one) and, if not, it looks for the best possible candidate among the homes at that number.

  • B The listing gives only the street

Without a number, the extension sweeps the whole street to identify the most likely candidates and shows them to you, ranked, so you pick the right one.

  • C The listing gives no street at all

The hardest case: the sweep has to cover a whole area instead of a single street. In large areas this is much harder, and the candidates it finds are less reliable.

Automatic success is most likely in case A, then B, and least likely in C.

Two more precise routes

  • Advanced search

If you would rather not depend on the automatic sweep, type the exact street yourself (from Cadastre's official directory) and the number, and search directly on that address.

  • Cadastral reference (RC)

The single most reliable option. If you know the property's cadastral reference, paste it and the property is linked with no ambiguity at all, skipping any sweep.

If something looks wrong

  • Property type chip

If the listing classifies the property wrong (says flat when it is really a house, for example), the property-type chip in the panel lets you change it. The search logic is different for each type, so fixing it can make the difference between finding the property or not.

  • Street chip

If the sweep locked onto the wrong street, the street chip (with the 📍 pin) lets you change it directly, without restarting the whole process.

What the extension actually shows you

Once the property is linked, this appears inside the same listing page.

  • Real price comparison

The asking €/m² against real registered sales nearby — not just other asking prices.

  • Official Cadastre record

Registered surface, year built and use, to check whether the listing matches the official record.

  • Renovation and buying costs

An estimate based on the property's type and real age, plus ITP, notary and registry costs for that specific price.

  • Warning signals

Occupancy, auctions, bare ownership, surface discrepancies and agency fees, when the listing text suggests them.

What happens to your data

Your Idealista account stays yours.

  • The extension only reads the visible listing page to identify the property and contrast it with official sources — the same way you would by eye.
  • It respects idealista.com's terms of use: no bulk scraping, no automated downloads, no access to your account, messages or browsing history.
  • Hogarfax sends its own official information about that property (Cadastre, comparable sales, taxes, risks) to the extension, so it shows up right inside the listing.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. The extension and its instant analysis are free and require no account. The optional full Hogarfax report is a separate one-time purchase.

What does it analyse exactly?

It compares the listing with registered sale prices and official Cadastre data, estimates renovation and buying costs, and detects signals such as occupancy, auctions, bare ownership, surface discrepancies and agency fees.

Does it access my Idealista account?

No. It only reads visible data from the listing you have open. It does not access your account, messages, forms or browsing history.

What if I can't find the property automatically?

That's case C above: use the guided street/number search, or paste the cadastral reference (RC) if you have it.

Is Hogarfax affiliated with Idealista?

No. Hogarfax is an independent service for property buyers. Idealista is a trademark of its respective owner.
